Do I need a doctors referral/prescription for physiotherapy?

No. Physiotherapists have been considered Primary Health Professionals since 1995. Thus, physiotherapy services may be accessed directly without a referral from your physician. However, if you have an extended health insurance, the provider may still require a physician’s referral to physical therapy before reimbursing your fees.

Do you direct bill?

We are pleased to offer direct billing for most benefits plans, including Blue Cross, Eclaims, Great West Life, Sun Life, and many more. We also direct bill for all Motor Vehicle Accident Insurance claims and WCB (Workers Compensation Board) claims.

What should I wear/bring to my appointment?

Please bring comfortable clothing that will allow you to exercise/move without restriction and the therapist access to the body part to be examined. Recommending: Shorts for lower body and back injuries. For women, a tank top for shoulder injuries. Shorts and gowns will be provided at your request.  Change rooms are available.
